If you need additional refills of your prescription medication you can either book an appointment with your family doctor or call your pharmacy and ask that they send us an authorization refill request. Requests will not be taken over the phone by patients. Please be aware that it may take up to 5 business days for prescriptions to be refilled by the doctor. Pain management and controlled substance prescriptions can only be refilled by coming to see your family doctor.

1. Am I Able To See Another Doctor If My Family Doctor Is Not Available?
Yes, you are able to see another doctor only if it is of an urgent matter and it can only be during the urgent care hours (Monday, Wednesday & (Alternating) Thursdays, from 5pm-8pm) . You cannot see another doctor during scheduled appointment hours (Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm & Friday, 8:30am-11:30am). Specific types of treatments may be scheduled with another physician at their discretion.
2. Can I Book An Appointment For Urgent Care Hours?
Yes, on Monday, Wednesday and (Alternating) Thursdays the urgent care hours are strictly for booked appointments only. Please call the office before 5:00pm to be given an appointment time for that day. We do offer strictly walk in (patients seen on first come, first see basis) urgent care visits on Saturdays from 8:30am-11:30am.
3. How Can I Find Out Which Doctor Will Be Working The Walk-In Clinic?
Our website calendar lists which doctor is working each night for the walk-in hours. Please be aware that due to unforeseen circumstances, scheduling may change.
4. Can I Get Any Blood Work Done At The Clinic?
No, our office does not do ANY blood work in the office at this time. There is a Life Labs blood lab at 10th Line and Main Street in Stouffville for your convenience.
5. Can My Medical Information Be Obtained Over The Phone?
Unless given explicit instruction from a physician, medical information will not be provided to a patient over the phone by reception. If you would like another person to receive information about your health, we need written consent
